PCB’s for 7-segment displays

And I learned something new again. I needed 7-segment displays for my MCP. A 5-digit PCB was difficult to obtain. So I decided to see if I could make one myself. I started working with the EasyEDA program. And that turned out surprisingly well. So I also immediately developed PCBs for 3, 4, and 6 digits. Now, Mobiflight only had a breakout board for 32 digits. For my MCP, I only needed 16 digits. So that 32-digit board was unnecessarily large. So what do you do then? Make a 16-digit breakout board myself based on the MAX7219 IC. For projects like the transponder, even that’s too much. So I also made an 8-digit PCB. After receiving it, I tested it and everything works fine. If you’re interested, send an email to kees@home767.nl
